Doula: Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum.
A doula provides information as well as physical and emotional support to a birthing person and family. Cultures all around the world have known how crucial this role is in supporting the wellbeing of the family, and how the benefits of a doula can translate to greater wellbeing for years and years to come.
As a doula, I am committed to supporting the discovery of what’s right for you and advocating for that every step of the way. My work is trauma informed, family-centered, inclusive to different family constellations and birthing preferences, and deeply attuned to the different needs of you and your family.

According to Evidence Based Birth the benefits of a doula include;
A 31% decrease in the risk of being dissatisfied with the birth experience; mothers’ risk of being dissatisfied with the birth experience was reduced with continuous support
Shorter labors by 41 minutes on average; there is no data on if the type of person providing continuous support makes a difference

Pregnancy Online Support Groups.
A bi-weekly online support group for birthing people who are interested in having support in preparing for birth and postpartum, guided stress reduction techniques, calling in the support you desire, having a safe space to explore your relationship to this transition and being a community of others in a similar phase of life. A great opportunity for those who want a structured time to honor the upcoming transition.
